“As a competitive rider, within various disciplines and a lover of the ‘need for speed’ race horses, I found that my confidence became shattered over a period of time. At first I was worried about what hypnotherapy meant and the implications of the unknown – was I going to become a chicken for an hour??? The answer was NO
Sue made me feel extremely at home and comfortable with a light hearted chat, the initial consultation, settling me in and to gain an insight into what hypnotherapy was about, how she could help me and how I could relax and learn to help myself.
We started slow, realising I needed to feel relaxed, comfortable and confident in my everyday life and competitive life, Sue chose a format that specifically concentrated on confidence. As I started to relax and listen I drifted into a sleep like state, aware of what was happening, feeling in control at all times, with the ability to stop if I began to feel uncomfortable at any point.
Sue, at all times, remained professional and calm reiterating that I can be this confident horse rider and competitor at all times, to believe in myself and allow myself to achieve.
I have only had 2 sessions and already the benefits are showing, I have had a further 3 people comment on how well I am doing show jumping youngsters and preparing to ride up the gallops, commenting on my ability to put aside the silly worries and believe in myself doing the task in hand.
I feel now in everyday life, that I am achieving my short term goals which, inevitably progress step by step to the big goal. I feel confident, comfortable and relaxed in situations in which I would usually panic and doubt myself.
After just 2 sessions I would highly recommend Boost hypnotherapy to anyone, no matter how sceptical the person. The service was professional and caring, personally catered and in a relaxed environment, nothing was too much trouble and Sue has become a fantastic mentor and friend.”
